RFQ ENGINEERING PROCUREMENT - TXCDBG

The County of Tyler is seeking to enter into a services contract with a well-qualified engineering service provider to assist the County in preparing an application for and in the overall management of its proposed Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) of the General Land Office (GLO). The scope of work includes pre-funding and post-funding grant administrative services, such as developing project scope, completing CDBG-DR applications, administering and completing infrastructure, utilities, housing, and eligible projects approved for disaster recovery funding. The selected administrative firm must follow all requirements of the Texas CDBG Disaster Recovery program. • The County is seeking a competent engineer firm experienced in grants/contracts application. • The firm should have past experience with federally funded programs. • The firm should provide a statement of qualifications, including a brief history, related experience, and a description of work performance. • The firm should also provide a list of at least three references from past local government clients. • The County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all persons or firms submitting timely proposals. • The County is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
