The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive service for ConMed Surgical Drills at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. The contract will be for a period of one year, with two optional one-year extensions. The contractor will be responsible for performing annual preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and providing loaner equipment when necessary. The contractor must also provide written guarantees that the equipment will meet manufacturer's factory tolerance after repairs. Key services include: * Preventive maintenance: annual maintenance as arranged by the Contracting Officer Representative, in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer's procedures and checklists. * Emergency repair service: repairs for the ConMed Drills, with the contractor furnishing and installing all necessary parts. * Parts: the contractor shall furnish all parts necessary to maintain and/or repair the equipment, in accordance with the Conformance Standards Section. * Contract performance monitoring, documentation, and reports: the contractor shall submit legible service reports when the original equipment is returned to the facility upon repair or PM completion. * Competency of personnel servicing equipment: all repair and maintenance services shall be performed by a technician who is fully trained on the ConMed Drills covered under this service contract.
