S 10th/11th Street I-5 Crossing

The City of Ridgefield is seeking qualifications from highly qualified firms to provide engineering consultant services for the planning phase of the S 10th/11th Street I-5 Crossing project. The project involves developing a likely scope, schedule, budget, and funding options for delivering a new overcrossing of I-5. The selected consultant will establish likely cost ranges, schedules, and risk factors for the project, identify potential funding sources, and develop a financial plan. The scope of work includes supporting accelerated construction concepts, identifying right-of-way and geotechnical needs, and developing preliminary cost ranges. The consultant will also coordinate with Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and relevant federal agencies. • The project requires experience in transportation planning, surveying, environmental documentation, and alternatives analyses. • The consultant must have expertise in managing federally funded projects and ensuring compliance with Federal EEO requirements. • The project involves developing a financial plan and identifying potential funding sources. • The consultant must be able to coordinate with WSDOT and federal agencies. • The project requires experience in environmental permitting and NEPA documentation. • The consultant must be able to develop a project management plan and schedule. • The project involves identifying major project milestones and developing a phasing plan.
