Ground Ambulance Services at Ft. Polk, LA

The U.S. Army Medical Department Activity (MEDDAC) is seeking sources to provide ground ambulance services at Ft. Polk, LA. The contractor will be responsible for providing all functions, tasks, and responsibilities normally performed by a ground ambulance emergency response and transport organization, including advanced life support emergency medical service, transports to and from aero-medical evacuation sites, and field ambulance services. The contractor will provide personnel who are competent, qualified, and adequately trained to perform the assigned duties. The period of performance will consist of one 12-month base period and four 12-month option years. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing ground ambulance services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year • Providing an Emergency Medicine physician medical director, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics, and a Senior Level Paramedic to serve as an On-Site Program Manager • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including Federal Law and Louisiana State Law(s), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, US Army, and installation regulations • Developing and maintaining a Quality Control Plan to ensure services are performed in accordance with the contract • Providing management and operation plans, including safety procedures and staff training plans • Providing a Contingency Plan detailing provisions for inclement weather, breakdown, insufficient drivers, and emergency evacuation
