NONSKID DECK COVERING AND DECK PLATE AT 06 LEVEL WEATHER DECK; REPLACE

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the replacement of non-skid deck covering and deck plate at the 06 level weather deck on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47). The contractor will be responsible for identifying and developing the appropriate repair method, determining the exact locations and extent of required repairs, and ensuring all required gas free certifications and testing are conducted and certified by a qualified Marine Chemist. The contractor must also review and fully understand all applicable Navy Standard Items (NSIs) prior to contract award. Key aspects of the project include: * Replacement of non-skid deck covering and deck plate * Identification and development of the appropriate repair method * Determination of exact locations and extent of required repairs * Ensuring all required gas free certifications and testing are conducted and certified by a qualified Marine Chemist * Review and understanding of all applicable Navy Standard Items (NSIs)
