Description
The City of Des Moines is issuing an on‑call, time‑and‑materials contract for sanitary sewer repair and related plumbing services. Qualified contractors must be able to respond 24/7 with a 1‑hour emergency response time and provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and disposal. The contract is for an initial 24‑month term with up to three optional 12‑month extensions and does not guarantee a minimum volume of work; historical mobilizations range from 75 to 108 per year. Bidders must submit insurance, equipment list, and cost estimates for jobs over $5,000, and must be registered with the Iowa Secretary of State and hold appropriate contractor licenses.
