Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard is seeking Asbestos Personnel Monitoring Services to be performed in the Controlled Industrial Area. The contractor will provide services to accomplish personal and general area air sampling for asbestos, including equipment prechecks, sample collection, and analysis. The contractor must have a Secret Security Clearance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The period of performance is from August 2026 to December 2026.
• The contractor will perform personal and general area exposure monitoring in accordance with 29 CFR 1915.1001.
• The contractor will provide dedicated Asbestos air sampling/exposure monitoring.
• The contractor will assemble equipment stands, pumps, and monitoring cassettes.
• The contractor will provide results to the contracting entity upon receipt.
• The contractor must have or be able to receive the appropriate clearance levels to access navy vessels.
