Trauma Focused Therapy Services

The Frederick County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is seeking trauma-focused therapy providers to offer child-focused approaches to child abuse cases. The goal is to award multiple qualified providers who can provide trauma-informed therapy services to CAC clients. The contract period will be for one year, commencing on or about October 1, 2026, with a renewal option for four additional years. The County intends to make one or more awards to responsive and responsible contractors whose proposals represent the best value to the County. • The contractor must be engaged in trauma-competent therapy services and have been actively engaged in this field for a minimum of five years. • The contractor must provide trauma-focused counseling sessions, including intake sessions, individual counseling sessions, and group therapy sessions. • The contractor must also provide administrative functions, including clinical case management, documentation of client progress, and court testimony. • The contractor must have the necessary insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, professional liability/errors & omissions, and workers' compensation. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations applicable to its activities and obligations under the contract.
