The Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) is seeking to modernize its existing retirement/pension system by replacing it with a new, modern pension system. The goal of this Request for Information is to provide CNIC with a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) to estimate costs, timeline, and level of effort required to develop a new implementation plan, implement, and migrate the current retirement solutions to a new pension system. The new system should be able to automate retirement rules and processes, interface with SAP HR, Payroll, and the Annuity Payment system, and provide a user-friendly employer portal and retiree, spousal/survivor beneficiary, and participant portal. The system should also have the ability to track and manage participant data, perform benefit calculations, and generate reports.
Some key features and requirements of the new system include:
• Automating retirement rules and processes
• Interfacing with SAP HR, Payroll, and the Annuity Payment system
• Providing a user-friendly employer portal and retiree, spousal/survivor beneficiary, and participant portal
• Tracking and managing participant data
• Performing benefit calculations
• Generating reports
• Ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations
• Providing a secure and scalable solution
The contractor will be responsible for providing a detailed proposal outlining their approach, timeline, and costs for the project. They will also be responsible for working with CNIC to develop an implementation plan, configuring and testing the system, and providing training and support to users.
