NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND COORDINATION SUPPORT TO THE INTEGRATED CONSORTIUM OF LABORATORY NETWORKS

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to issue a sole source contract to the Association of Public Health Laboratories, Inc. (APHL) for technical expertise and coordination support to the Integrated Consortium of Laboratory Networks (ICLN). The contract will have a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. APHL will engage state, local, and territorial public health laboratories in ICLN exercises, technical working groups, response planning, and incident coordination. The contractor will also facilitate information sharing and communication between ICLN leadership, federal partners, and public health laboratories. Key aspects of the job include: • Technical and coordination support to strengthen the ICLN • Engagement of state, local, and territorial public health laboratories in ICLN activities • Facilitation of information sharing and communication between ICLN leadership, federal partners, and public health laboratories • Response planning and incident coordination • Participation in technical working groups and exercises
