Student Travel & Group Tour Services- Supplemental

The Marana Unified School District is seeking bids for student travel and group tour services. The district is looking for a contractor to provide services that will work with teachers/sponsors to create a positive experience for students on trips. The trips may include national and international destinations, and may involve various activities such as educational tours, performances, and competitions. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and activities. The district is seeking a contractor that can provide flexible and standardized trips, and that can handle impending fare increases and replacement tickets. The contractor will also be required to provide background checks for chaperones/tour guides and to handle delays and cancellations. Some of the specific scenarios that the contractor may be required to provide prices for include: - AZ Colorado River, Geological Educational Experience - California, Disney Talent/Music Program, Disneyland Youth Educational Series Workshop or Performing Art - San Diego, Sea World, Oceanography Education Experience - Grand Canyon, Geology Education Experience - Catalina Island Marine Institute, Science Education Experience - Washington DC, History Education Experience - International Art and/or Foreign Language Experience The contractor will be required to provide a price for each scenario, and to specify the number of students and chaperones for each trip.
