Multi-Agency Online Auction Services

The State of Ohio is seeking a contractor to provide online auction services for the disposal of surplus property. The contractor will be responsible for providing an online auction system, categorizing and photographing surplus property, and posting selected surplus property online. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option for renewal. The state is looking for a contractor that can provide a web-based platform for surplus product sales and can facilitate the disposition of excess and surplus property. The contractor will need to have experience in providing online auction services and must be able to meet the requirements outlined in the RFP. Some of the key requirements include: possessing an electronic commerce website capable of auctioning surplus property, providing a link to the existing website, and having experience in successfully completing a project similar in size, scope, and complexity to the work described in the RFP. • The types of surplus property to be auctioned include office equipment and furniture, information technology equipment, maintenance materials, clothing, tires, office supplies, vehicles, heavy equipment, and surplus consumable inventory. • The contractor will need to provide a detailed narrative demonstrating how they meet the mandatory requirements. • The state is looking for a contractor that can provide a high level of service and can meet the needs of the state and its agencies.
