Description
The City of Lynchburg is seeking a vendor to provide outdoor janitorial services at the Lynchburg Bluffwalk and Riverfront Park complex locations. The services include collection and disposal of litter and smaller debris. The contract will be for a one-year period with the option to renew for up to four additional terms in one-year increments. The vendor will be required to perform services two times per week at the Bluffwalk location and three times per week at the Riverfront Park Complex location. The City reserves the right to utilize any contract as a result of this IFB process for similar janitorial or cleaning services throughout the City on an as-needed basis.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with consideration given to prior experience and demonstrated competence through provided references.
• The vendor will be required to notify the City staff member if damage to any infrastructure is noticed which could create a potential hazard for anyone walking on the Bluffwalk or in and around the Riverfront Park complex.
• The vendor will be required to provide new rather than used goods, fresh stock, and the latest model, version, design or pack of any item specified.
• The vendor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, policies, resolutions, regulations, and limitations imposed thereby.
