Key components of the program include:
• Program Design & Outreach: Develop a programming framework tailored to the needs of College Park residents, create outreach materials and engagement strategies, and establish intake procedures and eligibility criteria.
• Direct Financial Assistance: Administer funding to eligible residents for minor home repairs, association fees, utility relief, and distribution of residual emergency kits.
• Housing Education & Support: Provide workshops or one-on-one counseling on foreclosure prevention, budgeting and financial literacy, tenant rights and responsibilities, and offer guidance and application support for state and federal housing grants.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of program participation, expenditures, and outcomes, submit monthly progress reports to the City of College Park, and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
The selected provider will be responsible for delivering these services and meeting the minimum qualifications outlined in the RFP, including experience in housing stability, social services, or community development, capacity to manage public funds and deliver direct assistance, strong community partnerships and outreach capabilities, and familiarity with housing grant programs and foreclosure prevention strategies.
