Description
Kentucky State University is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive mowing, trimming, edging, and debris‑removal services for all designated turf areas across its campus. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, fuel, and related supplies, maintain grass at the specified height, keep sidewalks and hard‑surface areas clear of clippings, and be responsible for any damage to university property. The contract runs from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2028 with two optional one‑year renewals, and the award will be based primarily on price (90 %) and experience (10 %).
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup on all university turf, maintaining 2½–4 in grass height.
• Remove litter and debris before mowing; prevent clippings from entering storm drains or onto vehicles.
• Provide commercial‑grade equipment, maintain safety standards, and assume liability for any property damage.
