Description
The City of Rocky Mount is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to construct a concrete pad for a generator, install underground conduit systems, and install a grounding ring with all necessary grounding connections. The work must comply with local building and electrical codes, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and City of Rocky Mount standards. The project includes constructing a reinforced concrete pad, installing conduits, and installing a grounding ring. The contractor must ensure that all work is done in accordance with the design documents and referenced drawings.
• The project requires a mandatory pre-bid site visit on January 14, 2026, at 10:00 am EST.
• The contractor must submit a proposal, including a completed Identification of HUB Certified/Minority Business Participation form.
• The contractor must comply with the North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act and maintain necessary workers’ compensation insurance coverage.
• The project has a completion deadline of 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
