Description
The Town of Raymond is seeking one or more qualified, licensed Maine real‑estate brokers to market and sell tax‑acquired and surplus residential and commercial properties. The contract will be for an initial one‑year term, with optional renewal, and the broker will be responsible for market analysis, pricing recommendations, marketing, showings, buyer vetting, negotiation, and coordination of closings. Proposals must be submitted in sealed paper envelopes by the deadline, and the Town will evaluate bidders on experience, market knowledge, marketing plan, and commission structure.
• Minimum five years of real‑estate brokerage experience, active Maine license, and familiarity with the Cumberland County market.
• Services include full‑service sales support—from listing to closing—including production of marketing materials and periodic status reports.
• Compensation is commission‑based; bidders must detail commission rates and confirm that marketing costs are covered within that fee.
