R499--Boiler Plant Standard Operating Procedures Manual Creation for Perry Point

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources to create a Boiler Plant Standard Operating Procedures Manual for the Perry Point VA Medical Center. The selected contractor will be responsible for creating site-specific safety device testing procedures, lock out tag out procedures, normal operations procedures, emergency operations procedures, and a compliant boiler plant policy document. The contractor will also provide onsite hands-on training on the execution of new standard operating procedures. The boiler plant equipment inventory includes various pumps, boilers, and gas regulators. The contractor must be equipped with all necessary tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment to perform the work safely and effectively. Key requirements include: • Creating site-specific safety device testing procedures and documentation • Creating lock out tag out procedures and documentation • Creating normal operations procedures • Creating emergency operations procedures • Providing onsite hands-on training • Creating a compliant boiler plant policy document • Delivering the completed manual to the Perry Point VAMC
