MARSHALL STREET WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY CLARIFIER IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Clearwater is seeking bids for the installation of density current baffles in all four secondary clarifiers at the Marshall Street Water Reclamation Facility. The project involves draining, cleaning, and inspecting each clarifier, verifying pressure relief valves, and adjusting effluent weir elevations as needed. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work. The project duration is estimated to be 240 consecutive calendar days. • The work will be completed one clarifier at a time, with coordination required for scheduling around plant operations and storm events. • The contractor will be responsible for protecting the work and materials from weather-related damage and for complying with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. • The contractor will be required to submit a certified business certification, vendor certification, and E-Verify system certification. • The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
