Supplemental Snow Removal Services

The City of Gaithersburg is seeking supplemental snow removal services on an as-needed basis for fiscal years 2027 through 2029. The City is responsible for maintaining more than 92 center line miles of City streets. The selected contractor will provide snow removal services as needed. • The City is responsible for maintaining City streets, while the State of Maryland and Montgomery County are responsible for maintaining other roads. • Private streets are maintained by homeowners' associations, and some streets are maintained by developers until a development is complete. • The contract will be for a period of 3 years, from fiscal year 2027 to 2029. • A pre-submission meeting will be held on June 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM, which is optional but strongly encouraged.
