The NC Central University is seeking a designer to provide architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design documents for the Hubbard-Totton Building Elevator Replacement project. The project includes removing the existing elevator and installing a refurbished elevator, replacing the existing swing door with bi-fold doors, and upgrading the elevator to meet current NC Building Code and SCO requirements. The selected designer will be responsible for design development, preparation of complete construction drawings and specifications, construction administration, and other services. • Provide architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design documents • Remove the existing elevator and install a refurbished elevator • Replace the existing swing door with bi-fold doors • Upgrade the elevator to meet current NC Building Code and SCO requirements • Design development to verify field conditions and prepare preliminary plans • Preparation of complete construction drawings and specifications • Construction administration, including pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, submittal and RFI review, final punch list, and project closeout documentation
