Description
The State of Maryland is seeking a contractor to provide Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services for various locations in District 6, which includes Allegany, Garrett, and Washington counties. The contract will be for a term of 36 months. The contractor will be responsible for providing preventive maintenance, emergency service work, major repairs, and minor repairs. The contractor will also be required to provide replacement parts and materials as needed.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
* Providing all labor and parts for preventive maintenance
* Providing all materials and supplies associated with preventive maintenance
* Replacing all parts necessary to restore equipment to complete operational service
* Providing emergency service work within three hours of notification
* Providing major repairs as needed
* Providing minor repairs as needed
* Purchasing parts from the least costly source
* Submitting documentation for part costs with invoices for reimbursement
The State reserves the right to audit the contractor's invoices and to seek competitive bids for major repairs. The contractor will be required to cooperate with the State in the transition of services at the end of the contract term.
