Portland International Airport Terminal and Concourses Wayfinding Signage (Re-Bid)

The Port of Portland is seeking a qualified contractor to replace and upgrade way‑finding signage throughout Portland International Airport’s main terminal and concourses C, D, B, E, as well as the north and south tunnels. The work includes demolition of existing signs, fabrication and installation of new graphic and digital signs, associated low‑voltage electrical and data cabling, structural support framing, painting, and finish‑repair where signs are removed. The contract also requires compliance with FAA Airport Improvement Program grant terms, Buy‑American certification, and a 25 % self‑performance requirement for off‑site fabrication. • Demolition of existing wall, soffit, ceiling and truss‑supported signage across multiple concourses. • Supply and install new way‑finding signs, including digital FM4 displays with CAT‑6A networking and dimming control integration. • Perform structural metal framing, low‑voltage power, data cabling, painting, and localized finish repair; provide 5 % retainage and meet $500/day liquidated‑damage clause for schedule overruns. • Submit 10 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds; adhere to a 347‑day substantial‑completion schedule after Notice to Proceed.
