Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Health, is seeking a certified redemption center operator to manage a facility on the island of Lanai. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating the center in accordance with Hawaii state laws and regulations, and will be expected to provide logistical support for the Deposit Beverage Container (DBC) program. The contract term is five years. Key responsibilities include operating the redemption center, managing the facility, and providing customer service.
• The operator will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including HRS Chapter 342G, Part VIII, and HAR Chapter 11-282.
• The operator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the redemption center, including staffing, equipment maintenance, and customer service.
• The operator will be expected to provide regular reports and updates to the Department of Health on the operation of the redemption center.
