Description
Humble ISD is seeking a contractor to provide electrical maintenance, repairs, and installation services for child nutrition services equipment. The contractor will be required to provide routine and emergency services, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of electrical equipment. The contractor must have a valid State of Texas Electrical Contractor's License and provide proof of insurance. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for an additional two years.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installation services for child nutrition services equipment
* Responding to routine and emergency service calls within specified timeframes (48 hours for routine, 2 hours for emergency)
* Providing fully burdened hourly labor rates for electricians
* Submitting detailed quotes for sample jobs
* Complying with Texas Education Code requirements, including criminal background checks and fingerprinting
* Providing proof of insurance and a valid State of Texas Electrical Contractor's License
