Description
The Texas Military Department is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of a Roof Top Unit at the TMD Challenge Academy in Eagle Lake, Texas. The project includes the removal of one Trane YCH330 (410A Refrigerant) Roof Top Unit and the installation of a new HVAC Ground Unit meeting or exceeding the specifications of the replaced unit. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials to complete the project. The contract term is one year, and the contractor must provide a minimum one-year parts and labor warranty for the HVAC unit.
• The contractor must provide a site-specific safety plan and ensure that all electrical, gas, and thermostat lines are properly disconnected prior to removal of the unit.
• The contractor must recover all refrigerant from the unit and dispose of it according to city, state, and federal regulations.
• The contractor must provide a full-time, on-site supervisor and ensure that all subcontractors are properly permitted and licensed in the State of Texas and City of Eagle Lake.
• The contractor must maintain the required insurance coverage throughout the contract term and provide proof of insurance to the Texas Military Department.
