Description

The U.S. Navy is seeking a small‑business‑only, firm‑fixed‑price contractor to provide full relocation services for industrial workspaces, office furniture, and warehouse materials within a 40‑mile radius of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF). The effort includes three distinct moves: (1) relocation of welders’ workspace and heavy equipment; (2) relocation of a warehouse inventory to an off‑site storage facility; and (3) a pooled capacity for on‑demand, ad‑hoc moves up to 40 standard 26‑ft truckloads. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, transportation, and supervision, comply with strict base‑security and vehicle‑size restrictions, and meet a 12‑month performance period (Dec 2026‑Nov 2027). • Provide complete moving services (packing, loading, transport, unloading, placement, debris removal) for both office and industrial items. • Deliver all required material‑handling equipment (forklifts, lift‑gates, 26‑ft box trucks) and ensure U.S. citizenship for all personnel accessing the Controlled Industrial Area. • Offer a minimum notice window (default 3 business days) for guaranteed resources and support short‑notice/after‑hours moves at no additional cost, with a pooled capacity of up to 40 truckloads for Move 3.

Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $15,000,000

No contract ceiling is disclosed, but similar Navy shipyard relocation contracts for a 12‑month period typically range from $5 million to $15 million depending on the volume of assets, equipment requirements, and the pooled capacity for up to 40 truckloads. Factors influencing the estimate include the weight and complexity of heavy industrial equipment, the need for specialized forklifts and lift‑gates, and the small‑business set‑aside which often leads to competitive pricing.
