VMware Replacement

The City of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified vendor to replace its current VMware ESXi Hypervisor with a new on-premises virtualization platform. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing software licensing, migration services, and support for a period of three years. The scope of work includes the installation and configuration of the proposed on-premises virtualization solution, migration of approximately 120 virtual machines, network integration, and comprehensive support and maintenance. The City is looking for a vendor with proven experience in successfully completing virtualization migration projects of similar size and complexity. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement of the current VMware ESXi Hypervisor with a new on-premises virtualization platform • Migration of approximately 120 virtual machines • Network integration and configuration • Comprehensive support and maintenance for a period of three years • The vendor must demonstrate good faith effort to obtain participation of Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE's) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE's)
