Scaffolding and Insulation Services at Lakeland Electric Power Generation Facilities

The City of Lakeland is seeking a contractor to provide scaffolding and insulation services at its power generation facilities. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the work, including scaffolding, mechanical insulation installation, repair, maintenance, and removal services. The contract will be for a period of one year with the option for four one-year renewals. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA requirements and the City's safety policies. • Scaffolding services may include boiler and HRSG scaffolding, turbine scaffolding, pipe rack scaffolding, valve access scaffolding, elevated work platforms, temporary access structures, interior HRSG scaffolding, exterior access scaffolding, confined-space scaffolding, and specialty access systems. • Mechanical insulation services may include steam piping, feedwater piping, condensate piping, process piping, valves, strainers, flanges, turbine systems, HRSG systems, vessels, heat exchangers, expansion joints, ductwork, and miscellaneous plant equipment. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and comply with the City's insurance requirements. • The contractor must also comply with the City's safety requirements, including providing a safety plan and conducting regular safety inspections.
