Description
The Academy of Warren is seeking proposals for the removal and installation of 9 HVAC units and 3 air handling units. The project includes all components and connections, including electrical and plumbing. The contractor will be responsible for providing a site-specific safety plan, startup and commissioning of the rooftop units, and on-site equipment operational training. The project must be completed by September 25, 2026.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond of 5% of the project amount.
• The contractor must provide a performance and payment bond of 100% of the bid amount.
• The contractor must pay prevailing wages and benefits to employees.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Michigan Freedom of Information Act.
• The contractor must provide a 1-year workmanship warranty.
• The contractor must secure all necessary permits and approvals.
• The contractor must restore any damage to grass or landscaping caused by construction.
