The City of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified vendor to supply bulk and bagged hardwood mulch and related soil conditioners for municipal landscaping and maintenance. The contractor must provide IPEMA‑certified, twice‑shredded, dark‑colored hardwood mulch, optionally color‑enhanced, maintain a local inventory for rapid “as‑needed” deliveries, and be able to fulfill bagged mulch requests up to the city‑approved advertising limit. Pricing must be firm for the first 12‑month period with limited annual adjustments, and a 1 % administrative fee is to be incorporated into the bid price. The contract includes a 12‑month base term with the option for up to two additional 12‑month renewals, and a 3 % women‑owned‑business subcontracting goal.
