The Town of Timnath is soliciting responses from qualified consulting firms to prepare a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan under the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets and Roads for All program. The plan must satisfy all federal requirements, while also delivering practical tools, processes, and guidance that Timnath can use for ongoing safety management, grant preparation, and decision-making. The key objectives of the project include establishing a clear commitment and measurable targets toward eliminating roadway fatalities and serious injuries, building a reliable crash data system, identifying and prioritizing projects and strategies that address the Town's most pressing safety concerns, and developing policies, standards, and procedures that embed safety into everyday Town practices.
