Metering Systems and Related Products, Technology, and Services

The Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking qualified vendors to provide metering systems and related products, technology, and services for use by public sector agencies nationwide. The scope of work includes water meters, electric meters, gas meters, sub-metering, SCADA systems, communication devices, and supporting software and services. Vendors must provide complete metering systems, related equipment, technology, and services suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The contract will be for an initial term of 5 years, with optional extensions for up to 3 additional years. • The contract is expected to total between $25 million and $100 million annually. • Vendors must provide pricing that is transparent, competitive, and flexible. • The evaluation criteria will include purchase price, reputation of the vendor, quality of the vendor's services, and the extent to which the goods and services meet the needs of the participants. • Vendors must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal procurement regulations. • The vendor must provide a detailed pricing model and must include an administrative fee of 1.0% of all contracts sold under this contract. • The vendor must also provide information on their company’s operations, organization, structure, and processes for providing products and services.
