Safety Cabinets and BSL-3 Suite Testing

The City of El Paso is seeking a supplier to provide technical safety services for various hoods and BSL-3 suites. The services include testing and certification of biological safety cabinets, laminar flow hoods, and other equipment. The contract will be for a period of 36 months, with the option to extend on a month-to-month basis. The City reserves the right to conduct safety and capacity inspections of facilities, equipment, and staff prior to the award and periodically during the contract term. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services. • The contractor must have experience in providing technical safety services for similar equipment. • The contractor must be able to respond to emergency situations within 24 hours. • The contractor must provide a certification label for each unit that successfully meets its respective acceptance criteria. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to wage theft and lobbying.
