The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed priced Task Order to Caterpillar Inc for the Compact Track Loader w/ Forestry attachments (CAT 275XE) at Camp Bullis, JBSA WSM, Wildland Fire Branch in Texas. The contract action is for commercial services under NAICS code 333120, Construction Machinery Manufacturing. The FWS anticipates work to begin on the delivery of the supply after receipt of the delivery/purchase order. • The Compact Track Loader will be used for wildland fire operations and other project work. • The equipment must have the preferred hydraulic cooler, operator controls, and service and support. • Vendors must be able to travel onto Air Force bases to service and support the equipment. • The FWS is seeking a capability statement from responsible sources to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
