Description
The project involves upgrading the Master Boiler Program Logic Controls at the St. Louis VA Medical Center. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing Plant Master Panel PLC and HMI and replacing them with a new CompactLogix 5000 Series PLC, 5069 I/O modules, and a PanelView Plus 7 Graphic Terminal. The contractor will also upgrade the obsolete O₂ PCC-III-Z000 control system to the latest PCC-IV-Z000 control for each boiler. Other tasks include replacing the Windows 7-based Dell PC with a new PC operating on Windows 11, replacing the obsolete printer with a new Canon All-in-One Inkjet printer, and replacing the obsolete Ethernet switch with a new SonicWall switch. The contractor will also develop and implement a phased migration cutover plan to minimize system downtime.
