13th Street & Washington Street RRFB

The project consists of pedestrian facility improvements with stormwater infrastructure improvements. Work includes upgrading existing pedestrian facilities to meet current standards and installing a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) to increase pedestrian visibility. Stormwater infrastructure improvements include new inlets, storm drainpipes, manholes, asphalt paving, and curb-and-gutter installation. The project is expected to be completed by July 31, 2026. Key features of the project include: • Upgrading existing pedestrian facilities to meet current standards • Installing a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) to increase pedestrian visibility • Stormwater infrastructure improvements, including new inlets, storm drainpipes, manholes, asphalt paving, and curb-and-gutter installation • Maintaining access to the Boise High School parking lot driveway on 13th Street via the alley directly across from the driveway • Temporary closure of the driveway may be permitted for up to two days to accommodate construction activities on 13th Street immediately in front of the driveway
