The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to perform surface preparation and painting of the North Ohio Street Bridge and associated lighting and fencing components. The work includes painting of roadway and pedestrian fences, concrete barriers, and a total of 75 lighting poles (24 street‑light poles on the bridge, 46 pedestrian poles, and 5 bollard lights) as well as the railroad rail on the concrete barrier. Bidders must be pre‑qualified through KDOT for Work Type Q – Painting Structural Steel and must submit sealed bids by the specified deadline. The contract will award three complete sets of plans to the successful bidder, with additional sets available for purchase.
