Description
The City of Rochester, NH is seeking competitive bids (Bid 27‑05) to execute extensive hydraulic upgrades at its Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) located at 64 Strafford Road. The project includes replacement and installation of ductile‑iron water mains, gate‑valves, static mixers, chemical injection systems, HVAC upgrades, construction of a new CMU flow‑control building, site work, and full SCADA integration. The contract is a fixed‑price construction award with a 5 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, and retainage provisions. The work must be completed within 360 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with an additional 60 days for final completion, and must adhere to strict shutdown limits (maximum 6 hours, night‑only, no shutdowns June‑August) and environmental compliance (shoreland permit, NPDES, source‑water protection).
