Description
The Ontario School District 8C is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive facility assessment services. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a thorough evaluation of the district's K-12 educational facilities, including structural integrity, code compliance, and deferred maintenance. The firm will be expected to deliver detailed, prioritized facility assessment reports, digital documentation, and a capital expenditures projection. The district is looking for a firm with demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive facility assessments, expertise in architecture, engineering, and facility management, and strong project management skills.
• The facility assessment services will include evaluating the structural integrity of the buildings, reviewing compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, and identifying any deferred maintenance issues.
• The selected firm will be required to provide proof of liability insurance and name the district as an additional insured.
• The district reserves the right to negotiate changes in the scope of work or services to be provided and to select the firm that is most advantageous in accomplishing the district's goals.
