Description
The Kansas National Guard is seeking a contractor to upgrade the B16 Generator PLC at McConnell AFB in Wichita, Kansas. The work includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing or replacing generator PLC controls and output modules controlling a Kohler 1.5 diesel generator. There is an option to install a hot switch bypass. The contract duration is 60 calendar days after notice to proceed, and the project is set aside 100% for small businesses. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
• The contractor must provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary for the upgrade.
• The contractor must troubleshoot and repair the PLC to original installation parameters and verify restored PLC generator set operations and communication.
• The contractor must ensure repairs with a function check of generator operations in standalone and parallel modes.
• The contractor must subcontract with 3E Company, the designated OEM regional representative of Kohler.
