The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Savannah District, is conducting a Virtual Industry Day for two construction projects: the Forensic Exploitation Directorate Criminal Investigation Laboratory (FXD Lab) and the Department of Defense Law Enforcement Evidence and Data Repository (LEEDR) General Purpose Warehouse. The FXD Lab will provide permanent facilities for the Defense Forensic Science Center's Forensic Exploitation Directorate and will include administration areas, laboratory space, and supporting facilities. The LEEDR General Purpose Warehouse will serve as a multi-Service facility purpose-built to address mission-specific needs common to the criminal investigative agencies within the Departments of Army, Air Force, and Navy.
• The FXD Lab will require a minimum of 40 years of design life, including energy efficiencies, building envelope, and integrated building systems performance.
• The LEEDR General Purpose Warehouse will require bulk storage, records storage, data storage, and other support areas.
• The projects will be solicited as full and open competition with opportunities for small businesses to participate as subcontractors.
• A site visit is scheduled for February 3, 2026, and attendees are required to RSVP and provide identification.
• The estimated magnitude for the FXD Lab is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000, and the estimated magnitude for the LEEDR General Purpose Warehouse is between $100,000,000 and $250,000,000.
