Notice of Single Source to ARC Technologies

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to negotiate a contract on a single source basis with ARC Technologies for a stand-alone test station. The test station will have the capability to test and repair two of the eight ARSR4 LRUs currently supported on an old and obsolete system. The test equipment developed will need to be delivered and installed at the FAALC TSF Building, and FAA personnel will need to be trained in the operation of the new equipment. • The contract is for a single source basis due to Saab, Inc. owning all proprietary data rights necessary to conduct manufacture, repair, and test of these assets. • The proposed principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334290- Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing. • A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
