Description
The Maryland State Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide winter heavy duty towing services in Washington County. The contractor will be responsible for providing two wreckers for each winter event, with one stationed at Exit 77 on I-68 and the other at the MD 66 Ridesharing Lot. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience in winter heavy duty towing and must meet certain equipment and insurance requirements. The contract will be for a period of approximately 945 days, with the option to extend.
• The contractor must provide tow trucks that are capable of performing the services outlined in the IFB.
• The contractor must have a minimum of two tow trucks available for each winter event.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance as required in the IFB.
• The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to its activities and obligations under the contract.
