6515--PYXIS MedStation Lease - Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Northern Indiana Healthcare System (NIHCS), intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a five-month follow-on lease for Pyxis ES Medstation Equipment for NIHCS Pharmacy Services. The equipment includes Fort Wayne Codonics Lease/Support, Fort Wayne ES Lease/Support, Marion ES Lease/Support, and St Joseph ES Lease/Support. The contract will be awarded to CareFusion Solutions, LLC (OEM). Key aspects of the job include: • Providing Pyxis ES Medstation Equipment for NIHCS Pharmacy Services • Leasing the equipment for a five-month period • Supporting the equipment at various VA facilities, including Fort Wayne, Marion, and Jackie Walorski Clinic • Ensuring the equipment is properly installed, maintained, and repaired The contract is expected to be a firm fixed price contract with no option years.
