Online Auction Services

The County of Walton, Florida, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide online auction services for the sale of surplus county property. The selected consultant will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the auction process, from pre-auction preparation through final settlement and asset removal. Services may include online-only or hybrid auction formats, at the County's discretion. • The consultant will be responsible for coordinating and managing inspection periods, scheduling and managing public inspection appointments, photographing, video recording, and documenting all auction items, collecting relevant asset information, and developing and publishing a complete professional online auction catalog. • The consultant will handle all digital advertising, promote auctions nationally through equipment networks and online marketplaces, conduct targeted email campaigns, and coordinate statutory advertising when required. • The consultant will provide a secure online bidding platform, register, screen, and verify bidders, manage bidding, auction timing, and closing, provide bidder support, and maintain electronic bid and transaction records.
