PURPOSE OF REQUEST
Tompkins County seeks to partner with a third-party administrator for the purpose of retiree health insurance billing services.
Please Note: The County currently provides retiree health insurance and billing services for approximately 300 retirees and their dependents. The County offers multiple plans with differing cost-shares to retirees depending on date of retirement, Medicare eligibility, length of service, and bargaining unit.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
· Process retiree health insurance billing on behalf of the County benefits team
· Serve as a resource for county retirees with retiree health insurance billing questions and concerns
· Provide the county with monthly and ad hoc financial reporting
