Linear Accelerator Medical Physics Services

Virginia Tech is seeking proposals for the services of a medical physicist for the Animal Cancer Care and Research Center in Roanoke, VA. The services include providing physics QA for Varian EDGE Radiosurgery System and Siemens Somatom Confidence 64 Simulator, as well as clinical medical physics support for veterinary radiation oncology cases. The contract term is for two years with an option for four two-year renewals. The proposal should include a plan for providing services, qualifications and experience, cost, and participation of SWaM business. • The proposal should be submitted electronically through Virginia Tech's procurement portal. • The proposal should include all required information, including a table of contents and attachments. • The proposal should be organized in the order presented in the RFP. • The proposal should be signed by an authorized representative of the offeror.
