Description
The Township of East Brunswick is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive annual maintenance and emergency service for two hydraulic elevators located in the Transportation and Commerce Center parking facility. The contract will run for two years (Nov 1 2026 – Oct 31 2028) and includes preventative maintenance, safety testing, emergency call response, and repair or replacement of major elevator components as needed. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on October 15 2026. Evaluation will consider experience, technical expertise, cost, and ability to meet the Township’s schedule and compliance requirements, including insurance, NJ business registration, and equal‑employment provisions.
• Maintain two hydraulic elevators and perform scheduled preventive maintenance per the Township’s Maintenance Control Program.
• Provide 24‑hour emergency response; overtime and out‑of‑scope repairs invoiced separately.
• Conduct annual safety tests with a NJ‑licensed inspector and submit written performance recommendations.
• Supply all required insurance (general liability $3M, workers’ comp $1M, auto $3M, professional liability $2M, E&O $2M) and proof of NJ business registration.
• Submit quarterly invoices; contract value expected in the low‑to‑mid five‑figure range.
