Phase Grating Translation System

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from potential sources for a Phase Grating Translation System. The system should be capable of precision translation of 2 gratings in three orthogonal directions, with different travel, minimum incremental movement requirements, and load carry capacity. The system consists of three stages: vertical translation, transverse horizontal translation, and longitudinal translation. Each stage has specific requirements, such as load capacity, range of motion, and minimum incremental motion. The system should also include a motor controller that can control and position monitor the three stages. • The system should be able to achieve the objectives identified in the notice, including precision translation of the gratings. • The system should meet the technical specifications outlined in the notice, including load capacity, range of motion, and minimum incremental motion. • The system should be capable of being customized to specifications, with limits to customization. • The system should be manufactured in the United States, or the country of manufacture should be specified. • The system should include a software development kit in C/C++ or .NET that enables remote commands to control the stages.
